Welcome, and thank you for your interest in CX1 (web/mobile application for customary relationship management) offered by Clicentrix Technology Solutions Private Limited (“Clicentrix”). This Privacy Policy describes what information we gather from you, how we use and disclose that information, and what we do to protect it. By using the Service, you expressly consent to the information handling practices described in this policy.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to the Terms of use. The practices described in this policy apply only to Clicentrix's use of information supplied by you to Clicentrix through the Service. Information collected from you by others, such as third-party web sites that you access through links on the Service, may also be governed by those entities' privacy policies.
1. SCOPE
This Privacy Policy covers the personal information we collect about you when you use our products or services, or otherwise interact with us, including on our website at www.clicentrix.com (“Website”), web applications at connect@clicentrix.com and our related mobile online application offerings (collectively, the “Services”). This includes communications facilitated through the Meta WhatsApp Business API. This policy also explains your choices surrounding how we use your personal information, which include how you can object to certain uses of the information and how you can access and update certain information.
2. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 User-Provided Information: You may provide to us what is generally called "personally identifiable" information (such as your email address, age, area/zip/PIN code, mobile number and postal address) when using our Services. If you use our Service with your mobile device, or sign up to receive alerts via text message/WhatsApp, we may also have access to your device ID or phone number. If you enable location services, we collect geolocation data; we collect app usage patterns, preferences, logs and interaction history; any other information you provide viz., feedback, inquiries or support requests.
2.2 WhatsApp & Messaging Data: For users utilizing our Meta WhatsApp Business API integration, we collect phone numbers, message timestamps, and delivery metadata. We only send messages to users who have provided explicit affirmative opt-in consent.
2.3 Linked Service Information: When you link an account you may have on a third party service (such as your third party social networking site) to your account on the Service, Clicentrix will store the access credentials you provide. Clicentrix will have access to, and may collect and store, any information you may have stored in connection with that account.
2.4 "Cookies" Information: To your consent, we may automatically collect information from cookies and similar technologies (such as cookie ID and settings) to keep you logged in, to remember your preferences, and to identify you and your device.
2.5 "Automatically Collected" Information: This includes Internet Protocol address ("IP Address"), UDID, or other device address or ID, web browser and/or device type, the web pages or sites that you visit just before or just after the Service, and the dates and times of access.
2.6 Information from Other Sources: We may obtain information from third parties, such as other users who send messages to you through the Service or third-party service providers.
3. THE WAY CLICENTRIX USES INFORMATION
3.1 Clicentrix uses the information to operate, maintain, enhance, and provide all features of the Service. We use it to authenticate identity, ensure security, send notifications (via Email, SMS, or WhatsApp), analyze usage patterns, and comply with legal requirements.
3.2 We use "automatically collected" and "cookies" information to: (a) personalize services; (b) provide customized advertisements/content; (c) monitor marketing effectiveness; and (d) track entries and status in promotions.
4. WHEN CLICENTRIX DISCLOSES INFORMATION
4.1 Communication Features: Any information you voluntarily choose to include in a message to another user or in a public area will be available to others.
4.2 Third Party Service Providers: We work with third parties for hosting, maintenance, and application development (including Meta Platforms, Inc. for WhatsApp services). These providers have access to information only as necessary to perform their tasks under privacy terms comparable to this policy.
4.3 Law Enforcement & Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Clicentrix, our users, or others.
4.4 Merger or Sale: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. YOUR CHOICES & COMPLIANCE (INCLUDING INDIA DPDP ACT 2026)
5.1 Data Rights: You may update, correct, or delete your profile. You have the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent, and the right to object to processing.
5.2 Right to Nominate (India): In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2026, Indian residents have the right to nominate any individual to exercise their data rights in the event of death or incapacity.
